It is no secret that Sylvie and I love to take our little Cotton Tales away on holiday as we both have a serious case of wanderlust. On our recent trip to the Cinque Terre, we were discussing our basic holiday beauty must haves that we couldn’t survive without.
Once you have got that sun kissed glow on your holiday, I love to keep my beach babe look natural by adding just a few touches here and there to accentuate that golden glow; if I was told that I could only ever use one item of make-up again, it would have to be mascara. For me, the eyes are the main focus on a face and in my opinion, the bigger the better! At the moment, I am loving Sumptuous Extreme Lash Multiplying Volume Mascara by Estee Lauder. A gorgeous orange lipstick always complements a summer glow and I have found the perfect holiday romance, with MAC’s Neon Orange Lipstick. I believe Touche Eclare is a beauty must have in any girls cosmetic bag as is great for highlighting and contouring and works brilliantly when accompanied by a gentle dusting of bronzer and a swoop of blusher just below the cheek bones. In the day time, I keep my skin protected with Clarins’ Sun Wrinkle Control Cream. As we all know, it is essential to keep hydrated on the inside and out in the summer heat, so as well as drinking plenty of water, Elemis Maximum Moisturiser day cream and the body lotion are my fav- it is light and creamy and smells amazing!
Being a blonde with fine hair, I tend to struggle with frizz; my all time FAVOURITE hair care product has to be label.m Therapy Rejuvenating Radiance Oil– it caters for all you hair needs gloriously; working as a leave in conditioner after washing as well as protecting against the heat whether it be the hair dryer, straighteners or the sun, the rejuvenating radiance oil works miracles when trying to tame your dried out frizz ball of a mane. It also happens to smells incredible!
